In this program, you’ll learn unique, evidence-based mind-body practices that sharpen mental focus, help overcome fatigue, reduce physical pain, support recovery from trauma, and strengthen the ability to withstand high levels of stress while caring for others.
20:00 - 20:30: Dr. Richard Brown will teach simple, gentle, but powerful movement and breath practices that quickly relieve stress, tension, and anxiety. These practices can be done sitting, standing, or lying down, even by people with physical injuries.
20:30 - 20:50: Dr. Patricia Gerbarg will lecture on the Science of Breath Practices.
20:50 - 21:10: Dr. Brown will teach additional movement and breathing practices.
21:10 - 21:30: Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg will welcome a discussion and Q&A with those who can stay.
